my brother lives in the city & when i had a chance to visit & enjoy a change of scenery i hot footed it to his city pad. i spent time shopping & being amazed at how much the city had changed & grown since i had spent university days exploring the shops in between lectures or in some cases instead of lectures! i love the city especially the lights at night & the fun little places to rest & enjoy a coffee.
a hip place known for their coffee. errol st north melb |

ReplyDeleteI'm a city girl, I do miss being close to everything, but after living in a little country town for 13years it is nice to have the quiet.
ReplyDeleteMelbourne is such an amazing city, great shopping and cafes.
FABULOUS photos! That banana bread with the butter, oh my, mouth watering stuff. I adore the city. Always been a city gal, always will be. Glad you enjoyed your time at your brother's place, a change of scenery is a great thing xo

ReplyDeleteI grew up in a city and spend most of my life living in them or traveling to them around the world. But all of the sudden I am happy in my little town on the little island I call home these days. I did always love the beat of Melbourne, very chic.
ReplyDeleteLike you, I enjoy visiting and soaking in all of the cultural and edgy elements that the city offers....but then enjoy returning home and taking in hulking great lungfuls of fresh, clean air and the gentle ebb and flow of life in my pocket of the world.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you included this in April's POTM Club - a terrific addition!
beautiful pictures and given we get a country escape every now and again, i love how i can love bits of both city and country!
