soothing my soul

the other day my eldest was at school & youngest at kinder & i planned to do nothing else than walk the beach with my camera. & it was blissful. time to just snap away, think creatively & not be needed by anyone was just what i needed! i was able to clear my mind & soothe my soul. My day then flowed to making phone calls & getting on top of my list of things to do.

too often we can all get caught up in the daily busyness. but just having time to step away from the 'must do' to spend time doing the 'i would like to' can make such a difference!

  2. Your pics are so peaceful. I love taking an hour or so early in the morning to wander and snap knowing that everyone else is still sound asleep. Sets a lovely mood for the rest of the day.

  3. THose photos are so soothing. I think you've just inspired me to do something similar this Thursday - my first day in a long time when I'll be home alone. x

  6. These are such beautiful images... loving the gull shots, thought there might be a few in there. I couldn't agree more, sometimes a little bit of focus can change the entire shape of the day, but as you say, focus is tough to do with the little ones demanding so much of your attention. Glad you were able to steal away for a while xo
