this year i am going to be taking a self portrait journey in an attempt to capture some images of me, for my girls, as i am often on the other side of the camera & not so often in the multitude of photographs i take everyday!

The theme is "a piece of me". You really stuck to your guns. I can hardly see you ;-) Way to go!
ReplyDeleteSo true, I am hardly in any of my family photos too. Guess it is an "occupational hazard" of being the ph otographer of the family. I'm so excited for this project and plan on putting a booklet together for my family at it's conclusion too. Happy selfie's!

I'm exactly the same, loads of photos of everyone and everything else, none of me! Great shot and look forward to seeing some more pieces of you. :)
ReplyDeleteI like this "piece of you". Your idea of having pictures of you for your daughters is so beautiful. I think we forget they'll want moments captured of us "back then". I will say it's easier to sit behind the camera.

ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing more of you! :)
ReplyDeleteI see a piece of you . Really like your idea.
ReplyDeleteI think I am going to have to join you, this little project looks lovely. I worry about this for my kids, when they are older (and will no doubt love photos like I do) they too will wonder where all the pictures of me are... that's why we've got Tim Coulson coming in a few weeks - to get photos of the mama too!! x
ReplyDeleteLovely shot- just a tiny piece of you!
ReplyDeleteI love this because you show so little of yourself it makes me want to see more. You kept just enough mystery to draw out my curiosity. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteyou really are funny. Anticipating all the ways you'll have us piecing you together over the rest of the project :)
